Of Bone Trees and Old Cloth

A bone tree
Where drying limbs wait
Fingers or claws? Time will tell...

Voices waiting to be heard
Among bones and lichen
Horns and vintage cloth
Foraged horsehair with ferns and flowers yet to be pressed
A badger in red velvet
Hands await their silvering
A parcel sealed and ready to be sent...

What a wonderful collection of images. They all have a kind of apprehensive serenity, calmly waiting for something to occur.

I love seeing these bones before the Governessa gathers them in. Your work is incredible in its detail. I do wonder if there is a way to replicate it in needle felt. Hmmm!

Thank you all dearly!

I'm sure a fine needling could do it Charlotte.

The long-lost cloths await for your hands to touch them; To create them, turning them into your beautiful creatures!
