Watched the video, Mel. Right up my street as usual. Hints of Eraserhead, and a bit of Terry Gilliam at the end. And that guitar music was just what I used to do with my guitar sometimes, just to make a surreal sound. Some evident symbolism, too, but for me the fun of the surreal is the sense of being enthralled by something I don't understand, so I don't try to work it out. It was personally appropriate as well, given my experiences with rats and birds this year. Great stuff, dark lady.
What a wonderful post! Happy Hallow's Eve to you too! I don't think I will ever get tired of watching this movie, since it's my favorite stop motion. I just love watching those beetles creeping out of the cake.
