How Silently She Sleeps

On a whispers breath she arrived, softly wrapped and bound by fingers that sculpt and form, a delicate magick of fragile enchantments.

Softly and silently she slept on...

We watched and wondered not daring a breath, does she sleep still? Or is this fair one residing betwixt and between, neither wholly here nor there?

Nettle limps, tiny hobbling foot and curiosity drawing her ever closer to dear sweet Juliet

A tug on a cape and over goes the peg legged Nettle

Really Mathilda!!!!

But where is our dear sweet Weesk?

*
I feel absolutely blessed to have received Juliet, I caught my breath as I opened the parcel and saw her exquisitely, delicate form, her  simplicity and fragility.
Juliet was created by Evelyn Santiago, a wonderful artist and dear friend.
Thank you Evelyn!

You're doing it again. Mel. Poor Nettle goes straight to the heart.

You didn't have a hand in writing the Eric Outhwaite episode of Ripping Yarns, did you?

Melanie, your dolls absolutely "work" together!
I think Evelyn is one of the most talented doll artists. We should meet one day with our dolls . Maybe they should have a little picnic. Evelyn would love that!

Patricia, thank you! We really do have to do that and make a wee film for Enchantress Evelyn ;)

YES, we've got to!
Do you come to England sometimes?
( I will write on FB easier to communicate there!)

Oh Melanie, The way you have photographed her and the story you have told, was so beautifully done.

Oh dear! I thought, when I saw the peg legged Nettle go down....then a haunting feeling came over me when I saw Mathilda wrapping her fingers around dear Juliet. I must say that Mathilda is a riot! I do feel that Juliet will get along fine, I just can't help think that Mathilda wants to keep her all to herself?

I am so happy that you love dear Juliet and thank you to everyone for the beautiful comments they have left. I think it would be so wonderful to see you and Patrica get together and make a little film of the dolls having a picnic. That would definitely make me so happy...how I wish I could join you both.

As for deer Weesk....there should be news of him soon! I can't wait to show you what he has been up too! Thank you for letting him come live with me, he is truly magical and full of wonder! I adore him!

Magical blessings my dear friend!

She is indeed a beautiful family addition! Dear little nettle x

Don't worry dear Evelyn, Mathilda's rather taken with Juliet. Perhaps, she's in a dimension that takes her beyond Mathilda's mischief!
Thank you so much for that wonderful comment and don't worry you'll be there in spirit, when we have our picnic ;)
I'm looking forward to seeing our sweet Weesk again...
