Weesk

I'd heard a scurrying from behind my mannequin and plant pots all day but each time I looked there was nothing there. I had no idea what it was until, I saw this little one scampering towards the window.

I scooped him up, despite his protests that he would be in "oh, such terrible trouble" if he was delayed, and promised to take him out to the garden myself, if he would share his tale with me.

His name is Weesk, a fledgling watcher and gleaner, apprentice of The Woo and general curious soul.
He's severely punished should he miss a moment or a tiny detail, hence the red eyes, they've been open for weeks (even when he sleeps).

Weesk came to visit on an secret adventure of much importance! I begged him to tell me about it and he did, but shhh, don't tell The Woo!

Aw, I love your posts so much! This one is a particular gem- he's so wonderful! I think he's my favourite of your little characters so far, and that's saying a lot 'cause the rest are pretty damn awesome. (And awesome is not a word I use lightly.)

Dear darling Weesk ~ my heart stretches out to him, fantastical tired soul that he is! And on a secret adventure that involves your enchanted others there within your phenomenal realm? Heart be still! I am fairly teeming with excitement as I wait until the next revealing ... is Mathilda sharpening her teeth so as to protect Weesk from the Woo? Melanie !!! Weesk and You and your tales of wonder are rare treasures !!! !!! !!!

Well I think he should start the Weesk Popular Front, tell the Woos where to stick themselves, then have a couple of beers and a good sleep. But I don't know what power his hierarchy have over him, do I? Neither do I know whether there are Mathildarian machinations afoot, or whether there is some fiendish plot to involve him in Gertrude's next adventure. I suppose I'd better just watch this space.

Róisín, I'm so happy to know that you're enjoying this adventure, I know I am too :) By the way I love your profile picture.

Shayna, Shayna, yes there appears to be some plotting afoot! For now I have to keep it under lock and key, but soon there will be more of the revealing going on ;) I love reading your comments!

Mr Beazley, trust you to be a rabble rouser ;) "Mathildarian" I love it!! as I whispered to Shayna, plots abound Jeff and I think I can reveal that Gertrude does indeed have a hand in it!!

This is the most adorable little creature I've seen so far while walking by all these amazing dolls you all make. It really inspires me to give this art a try on my own. Thanks!
