Jean Harlow And The Unfortunate One...

Oh Gertrude! What happened to your lovely golden tresses?

                              Methinks Mathilda knows.

Aha,Mathilda! Perhaps since you've been gifted with your new black shoes you are feeling brazenly entitled to pretty things that don't belong to you? First, coveting, er, fancying Mistress's ribbon - and now - the beautiful Gertrude's tresses. Listen, my friend ... I almost took a canoe once, so, I understand these things. I will say though, Gertrude's hair becomes you ... hmmm ... meet me at midnight and we'll go treasure hunting. xo to you and yours!

What a treat to open the page and find Evelyn, Shayna, Karey and Jenclair ;)
Thank you all!

Evelyn, I have to admit to loving her new locks too ;)

Hee hee Shayna, brazen is the word! By the way, Mathilda said you're on she'll see you then. But please watch out for those teeth of hers, she told me she would have bitten his ankles and taken the canoe anyway.

Thank you Karey, I'm glad you're here!

Hi Jenclair, you should try living with Mathilda. Between the exasperation and giggles...

Mathilda is so lovely. She reminds me of an archaic snow maiden. Love it.

I really dig that hair doo.....what did happen to our tresses????? I would like to know for one! too funny!

Thanks Nicomi, I'll see Mathilda in a different light now!

Well, Paula, I only caught the aftermath! But it is said that Mathilda, unable to contain herself flew up at Gertrude sharp teeth first and plucked the poor girl like a chicken! Then sat back and humming a happy tune, wove herself a fetching wig.
Don't worry, I'll take care of Gertrude ;)

Now that I know about her handy teeth, how I wish Mathilda coulda' been with me on the canoe caper! Mathilda must be feeling a bit smug to know that Nicomi called her an archaic snow maiden! And now that I learn of her rather wickedly eccentric chicken antics toward Gertrude and her tresses ... well, I will have to teach her who rules the roost during our midnight run! (perhaps she could have a side profession of basket weaving?) Thanks for all this fun, dear Melanie ~.~

Basket weaving, there's a thought! Could be a good way to channel those energies! Be firm Shayna and keep eyes in the back of your head ;)
Thanks for coming to play ;)

I think it might take me a little while to come up to speed. Interesting how the bizarre can be beguiling and even beautiful. Somebody said that about me once. No, they didn't. I just made it up, all for you Melanie.

Mathilda had pulled out handfuls of Gertrude's lovely hair and made herself a glamorous wig ;)
